Your 90-day clock doesn't start until we surface your first real match.

You can message each other inside the app. After five messages, we suggest meeting in person — we don't want to encourage endless digital chat as a substitute for actual connection. After ten messages, we gently prompt you to confirm whether you'd like to be exclusive. The platform is designed to move toward real meetings, not to maximise time spent on it.

Yes. We built this for people looking for a real, long-term relationship — not casual dating, not situationships, not "seeing where things go." Both you and a match confirm it inside the app. We take you at your word. There's no evidence threshold, no waiting period, no definition we impose beyond what you both genuinely believe is true. We're not the relationship police — we just want to know so we can pay your bonus and close your account if you want.

When both people confirm the relationship in-app, the bonus is triggered automatically. You'll receive an email with a payment link within 24 hours. The £99 goes to your bank account within 3 business days. You don't need to do anything other than be honest with the app about whether you're actually together.

You could try — but both people have to confirm it, and the other person would be giving up their own refund eligibility to do so. We also look for patterns that suggest abuse of the system. More importantly: if you're the kind of person who would do this, LoveCertain probably isn't for you.

If we can't produce a single match at 70%+ for you, you get a full refund immediately — you don't have to wait 90 days. Your clock only starts when we have a genuine match for you. If no match ever comes, we haven't delivered what we promised and you should absolutely get your money back.

These aren't buzzwords — they're the variables that have been validated over decades to predict whether couples stay together.

Yes. For every match, you can see your overall compatibility score and the breakdown across all four dimensions. You'll know before you've said hello whether your life stage alignment is high but your communication styles are different, for example. We believe transparency about the matching makes better conversations happen.

We'll tell you. We don't pad out your matches with people who scored 58% to seem like the product is working. You stay in the queue, your clock doesn't start, and you get notified when a strong match joins. We'd rather have you wait for a real match than meet a string of unsuitable people and lose faith in the process.

You'll see photos of your matches and can decide whether to pursue a conversation. We don't match on physical preferences — research consistently shows that physical attraction is far less predictive of relationship longevity than values alignment and communication compatibility. But we're not asking you to go on a date with someone you genuinely don't find attractive. That's why photos are part of the profile.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported at checkout. We don't store your card after the initial payment — there's nothing to charge you for later.

After you click the refund button in your account settings, we process it within 1–2 business days. It typically appears back on your card within 3–5 business days depending on your bank. You won't receive an email asking you to explain yourself.

Yes, at any time. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Deleting before claiming a refund forfeits your refund eligibility, so if you're considering leaving without having found a relationship, claim your refund first. Your data is deleted from our servers within 30 days of account deletion.

It stays active for 30 days after you confirm, in case you want to close conversations with other matches. After 30 days, your profile is hidden from new matches. Your account and conversation history remain accessible for 6 months before being archived. You can delete at any time.

Your full questionnaire responses are never shown to other users. Matches see your compatibility score and the dimension breakdown, but not your individual answers. We use your data to run the matching model and for anonymised product improvement. We don't sell data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Report them immediately using the flag icon on their profile or in your conversation. All reports go directly to our moderation team and are reviewed within 24 hours. You can block someone at any time from the conversation screen. If you're concerned about safety outside the platform, please contact the relevant authorities. Your report will be taken seriously.
